Mohammed Tetengi Elomi is a seasoned professional with a diverse
background in finance, taxation, and advisory services. He holds a
Master's degree in Public Policy & Management from the University of
London and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford
Brookes University. Additionally, he obtained a Bachelor's degree in
Public Administration from the University of Abuja and an Advanced
Diploma in Accounting and Business from the University of London.
Mohammed is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), an Associate Chartered of the Institute of Taxation (ACTI – CITN), and a Certified Accounting Technician (CAT). He has undergone various training programs, including practical application of IFRS and IPSAS in both private and public sectors.
With an extensive employment history, Mohammed has worked in notable organizations such as Eslon Nigeria Ltd, Cibi Nigeria Ltd, Cemcon Supplies & Services Ltd, and Prime Training & Consultancy Services Limited. He also served as a Special Assistant at the Niger State Government House, contributing to investment project implementation.
Notably, Mohammed held a significant role as the Acting Chief Financial Officer at JOS Electricity Distribution PLC from July 2017 to September 2020. In this capacity, he oversaw the finance and account division, ensuring compliance with IFRS and managing various financial functions, including corporate finance, treasury, credit risk, and financial reporting. His responsibilities extended to budget management, payroll processing, relationship management with banks, and internal control implementation.
Currently, as a Partner (Tax and Business Advisory) at Abdulkadeer & CO. (Chartered Accountants), Mohammed is entrusted with tasks such as managing tax services for clients, designing accounting and audit manuals, implementing client policies and procedures, and overseeing value-for-money audits. His expertise is demonstrated in projects like providing financial analysis and accounting support to FIRS on tax audit exercises for Electricity Distribution Companies (DISCOS) and First Bank Plc.
